Double faced hand-painted batik scarf in 100% silk Pongé with hand-rolled edges

Dimensions: 55 × 55 cm / 22 × 22 in

Material: Pongé silk is an ultra-light, delicately translucent silk with a soft matte glow and fluid drape, prized for its airy feel, gentle touch on the skin and ability to carry colour with luminous softness.

On the body: Wear it as a bracelet, a ribbon in your hair or a secret tucked beneath your collar.

The story: Their form appears both present and fading — as if they are suspended between waking and surrender, between holding onto themselves and letting go completely.
The water-like layers of paint ripple through the body, blurring the lines between skin, emotion and landscape. They becomes fluid, weightless and carried.

This piece speaks of vulnerability, softness and the secret world we enter when our thoughts loosen and our inner selves rise to the surface. It is the intimate transition where reality fades and imagination begins to glow from within.

    In case the chosen design does not quite meet your taste, I will be able to accept your return or exchange request as long as the 14-day return period has not expired after shipping your order and the piece shows no signs of wear. Please do not send your purchase back without prior notice at studio@seidraum.com.

  • To preserve the beauty and longevity of your natural silk item, please follow these care instructions:

    Cleaning

    Natural silk should preferably be cleaned by professional dry cleaning.

    Do not bleach and do not use detergents containing chlorine or harsh chemicals.

    Hand Washing

    Washing natural silk frequently is not recommended. When you do, treat your scarf to a gentle hand wash in lukewarm water using mild detergent specially made for silk or delicate fabrics. Move the fabric softly through the water for a few minutes without rubbing, wringing or twisting. Rinse carefully until the water runs clear.

    Drying

    Do not tumble dry. Allow the scarf to air dry naturally. To remove excess moisture, gently press your silk between clean towels — never wring it out. Lay the scarf flat on a fresh towel away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

    Avoid hanging the silk while wet, as gravity may stretch and distort its shape.

    Ironing & Storage

    Iron on a low temperature setting suitable for silk, preferably on the reverse side. If a higher temperature is needed, place a clean cotton cloth between the iron and the fabric.

    Store the scarf flat in a cool, dry place to help maintain its shape and appearance. Alternatively, hang your scarf on a padded or rounded hanger.

    Proper care will help preserve the color, texture and delicate structure of the silk for years to come.
